A nice property dating back to the 1600, situated on the magnificent Chianti hills at an altitude of 500 metres. The accommodation is offered in four farmhouses (apartments or small villas) completely and recently restored and fitted with stylish furniture. The houses are surrounded by olive trees, vineyards, fruit trees, a biological vegetable garden, a small corner with aromatic herbs and a large wood. As well as the large park, the guests have the use of a splendid swimming pool with a sunny terrace spanning 500 m2 facing the Vallata dell\'Arno.
The guests also have the use of a gym, mountain bike hire, barbecue/stone fires and table football and ping-pong for the smaller children.
The guests can take relaxing walks along the paths in the woods or take a jog in the silence of the countryside.
In the immediate vicinity, there are five-a-side football fields, tennis and bowling courts (3 km), two riding schools (5 km), golf courses (20 km) and 2 km away is the Outlet The Mall (Gucci, D&G, Fendi, Armani, Ferragamo, Sergio Rosssi, Valentino, etc.), 5 km away, there is Prada Outlet and in Valdichiana, there is the Outlet Village (Guess, Benetton, Levis, Calvin Klein, Parah, Nike, Bassetti, etc.).
Arezzo, Siena and Florence are within easy reach.
This holiday home, \"Galatea/Maia\" is side-by-side, spans 42 m2 and has a ground floor and mezzanine. There is private space outside (with a little garden).

The La Pietra Apartment is at an altitude of 625 metres on a hillside in Castel Girardi. It is two kilometres from the Etruscan city of Cortona. The accommodation enjoys a good view of the Chiana Valley. The mountain peaks of Amiata and Cetona are visible in the distance. Lake Trasimeno in Umbria is also visible. The walk from the apartment to Cortona is very pleasant. You will pass old stone walls lining the road side, ancient olive trees on different levels and the region\'s characteristic cypresses. The apartment has been completely restored with local stone. The interior is rustic and full of atmosphere. The owners live on the first floor and are very discreet. Vinci is, of course, also the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci, also recently known from the book \"The Da Vinci Code\" from Dan Brown and the movie. You can visit the house where he was born as well as the Leonardo Museum in the castle. The magical landscape is still like Leonardos paintings and is very much worthy of them.

When renting an apartment in the old town, a car is not strictly necessary and the nearby art cities of Florence, Pisa and Siena as well as the beach can be reached effortlessly by public transport. Lucca offers a plethora of cultural events including classical music concerts and open-air rock and pop events.

Situated in one of the alleys in Florence\'s historic centre, this pleasing 70 m apartment is a very good choice for \"city-trip\" enthusiasts. The apartment has been decorated with taste by the owner, who has managed to combine the authentic with the modern. Certain features of Florentine style, like the arched ceilings and exposed beams have been retained and supplemented with a touch of creativity that makes this a warm and very welcoming place.
From the apartment, you will easily be able to get to the city\'s best known monuments and squares on foot. Florence\'s magnificent Grand Synagogue with its famous green dome is close by, as is Ste Marie Madeleine des Pazzi chapel, and its beautiful frescos. Approximately 10-15 minutes walk takes you to Duomo square, Santa Croce square and Signoria Square where, among others, you will find the Uffizi museum.

Once this estate belonged to a rich family from Florence, they completely renovated it and thus created a number of very well appointed apartments.
