There are two waterfalls with natural hydro-massage for relieving day-to-day stress. There is also a small swimming pool for children. The spa has qualified people for massage, mud treatment and other therapies. The Giglio Apartment is ideal for a totally relaxing holiday.

The terrace, swimming pool and balcony all enjoy a delightful view of the surrounding hills. Deer and sheep graze peacefully in the area outside the enclosed garden.

Tenuta di Capocontro is an ancient hamlet. It is in the heart of the green Tuscan hills, surrounded by woods and olive trees. The hamlet is 550 metres above sea level and a few kilometres from the town of Civitella in Val de Chiana. It has a farm, an old mill, a small church and some rustic houses and stables. The main part of the hamlet was built in the Middle Ages. There are 250 hectares of land around the hamlet and 80 km of walking paths. Tenuta di Capocontro produces wine and olive oil. It is the perfect place to enjoy the Tuscan landscape. You can also relax by the swimming pool. Five houses, IT-52040-13 and IT-52040-14, have been converted into guest accommodations. Each house has a private terrace. The swimming pool is for shared use. The houses are furnished in a rustic Tuscan style. You can enjoy interesting day trips to Perugia, Cortona, Florence, Siena, Arezzo and Lake Trasimee. The friendly owners live in the main building of the hamlet. Florence\'s monuments and essential places to visit are very close: the Uffizi museum, Signoria Square and the famous Ponte Vecchio bridge are all about 100 metres from the accommodation. Duomo Square is about 200 metres away.
Guests arriving by car can park their vehicle in a supervised, covered car park (price not included in the rent) 20 metres from the apartment.
In order to get around the city more easily, bikes can be hired from Santa Maria Novella central station (10 minutes from the apartment).

Youll find shops, restaurants and other facilities in the town centre which is 1000 metres away. The apartments are on the ground floor with their own small terrace, or on the first floor with good views of the estate and garden. The apartments vary in size and interior décor. They are conveniently positioned in a relatively quiet area. The friendly landlady is happy to advise you about good restaurants and places of interest. Other services are available on request such as babysitting, bicycles, catering and discounts to beaches with sun loungers. There are lots of interesting places to visit in the region. The historic city of Pisa is twenty-six kilometres away, Lucca is twenty-eight kilometres, Pistoia sixty-five kilometres, Cinqueterre in Liguria is fifty-nine kilometres and the magical city of Florence is ninety kilometres away.

This holiday home is part of a former colonial home, restored with respect for the rustic style. The property features wooden beams, stone walls and arched windows with Florentine terracotta brick work from which guests are afforded views over the hills of Montecatini Alto, Monsummano Alto and Marliana. The very simple holiday home in question is picturesque and genuine and is located in the countryside outside Marliana, 450m above sea level, surrounded by the chestnut trees and olive groves of the Tuscan Apenines. The house is across two levels, due to its hillside position.
The holiday home is just 2 km from the centre of Marliana where guests will find shops, bars, a pizzeria, a roast goods store and a chemist. Ten kilometres away you will find Montecatini Terme, famous for its thermal spas and of course a wealth of restaurants, bars, supermarkets as well as a train station.
The location is perfect for those who wish to visit the Tuscan cities of art (Florence, Pisa and Lucca) which are all within easy reach. Perfect also for a relaxing break, thanks to the temperate climate of the area.
Heating is by chimney and an oil burning stove.
The mushroom seasons are from May to June and September to October.
The chestnut season is from September to October (typical Tuscan chestnuts).
