Apartment 2 is one of our six luxury apartments set in a spectacular location at the foot of the famous Les Bossons glacier, only 3 minutes drive from the centre of Chamonix. Les Bossons is located directly between the Les Houches and Chamonix ski areas - perfect for those wishing to enjoy peaceful surroundings with easy access to the hustle and bustle of Chamonix.
The chalet has been privately owned for the last 10 years by Richard and Jenny Avent, who live in one of the apartments in order to offer you the best possible personal service. Apartment 2 is a ground floor apartment which was completely renovated to a very high standard in August 2003. It has fantastic views over the Brevent side of the valley through a large picture window, and a patio area to dine outside, if weather permits, enjoying the setting sun. The apartment has an open plan layout with fully equipped kitchen area with essential utensils and cooker with oven, grill and electric hob, living area with twin/double sofa bed, and bathroom with shower and wc.

Our first floor studio apartment is ideally suited for a family of four, or up to four adults. It is located only 100m from the commercial centre of Villeneuve, including shops, bars, restaurants, cinema, swimming pool, etc....and only 300m from the old town with its alpine charm. Access to the Orres skiing area (more than 90 km of runs) is immediate (chalet is just opposite the skilifts, parking and a road) and a number of activities are provided: from the traditional snowshoeing to more unusual sports like riding quad bikes, the icefalls or snow scooters. In addition, you can practice water activities on Serre-Ponçon lake or Embrun lake or wild water sports on the Durance river following the owners advice. Children will love the Jungle Adventure course, the more foolhardy could opt for paragliding or off-piste skiing, while those of a calmer disposition will appreciate the snug comfort and modern equipment of the chalet. The village is extremely pleasant, quiet and close to Les Arcs ski resort, located in the large Paradiski skiing area. The funicular is 500 metres from the chalet and you can reach Les Arcs 1600 in just a few minutes (or 20 minutes by car).
The nearest shops are in Bourg Saint Maurice (5 km) and are easily accessible via the funicular or by car.
