Very authentic restored caves houses, situated in the town Galera, 7 km south from Huéscar and approximately 150km northeast from Granada. There are caves of 1 to 4 bedrooms for 2 to 6 persons (see housecodes ES-18840-01 to 04).
The town Galera and many other towns in the surrounding are famous for the cave houses, which is cut out in the bare sand rocks, which is typical for the landscape. The temperature in the caves remains 18° C the entire year through, as well as in the hot summers as the cold winters. Even the population of this town still lives in caves!
In the neighbourhood are many excursion and trekking possibilities (GR-7 european path nearby). The town Galera is central situated with respect to the nature park of Sierra de Cazorla, Castril, Sierra de Baza, Valle de Dos Rios where there are archaeological excavations and naturally Granada with the famous Alhambra. It is possible to make use of the swimming pool and the small spa facilities of the closely situated eco-complex \"El Molino de Morillas\" at a special price. Wood for the open fireplace is available on request.

In the neighbourhood are many excursion and trekking possibilities (GR-7 european path nearby) such Parque Natural de Castril, Sierra de Baza, Valle de Dos Rios where archaeological excavations are naturally Granada (150 km.) with its Alhambra. You can make use the spa facilities at a special price. At the apartments is a big garden with pool, playground, jeu de boules and table tennis table. There is a washing machine for communal use. A library with billiards table. Internet use for free. Ideal for groups! The sauna is for communal use. There is an apartment available on request for handicapped people.

Experience an unforgettable holiday in the caves of Tio Tobas in Andalusia! These caves are adjusted to the modern comfort and are situated on a small holiday park that features a swimming pool (36m2). The park is ideally situated along the foot of the Sierra Nevada, between 3 nature parks and within 60km from Granada.
On the park there is a restaurant and meeting room. The caves of Tio Tobas are situated only at an hour distance from the beautiful town Granada. Here you can stroll through the nice narrow streets of the Albaizin (Jewish area) and naturally visit the world famous Alhambra. The beach is 100km. and Malaga city is 170km.
The park organises many activities like quad and 4x4 excursions, horse riding, archery, air rifle shooting, hiking trips and bicycle hire. In short, the caves of Tio Tobas are the perfect place for a special holiday, even for children!
The temperature in the caves stay approx. 18°-20ºC the whole year through, as well as in the hot summers as in the cold winters. Even the local people live in caves!

This so-called \"cortijo\" has been converted with taste and using authentic materials into rural but comfortable holiday homes of different sizes. Every holiday home has its own terrace and there is lots of space around to enjoy the hospitality of the owners with other guests and the incredible tranquillity that reigns here. There is also a large meeting room with bar, ideal for companies who wish to meet in a special place.
The village Laroya is situated in the Sierra de los Filabres, near the village Macael, at ca. 800 m altitude. The rural village lies against a green mountain, surrounded by fields with olive trees, wheat, almonds, maize and cattle farms. In January, April, the week before Easter (Semana Santa) and in August various famous (religious) festivals take place in Laroya. The cave houses of Cuevas la Granja are situated on an idyllic place less than 1 km from the town Benalúa, in the area Guadix in the outskirts of Andalusia. Rurally situated with splendid views! Ideal location within 30min. by car from the beautiful town Granada and 60min. by car from the Sierra Nevada. In Granada you can wander through the narrow streets of the Albaizin (Jewish area) and naturally visit the world famous Alhambra. The coast is within ±100km and the town Malaga ±170km.
This small holiday park consisting of 11 restored cave houses (50-70m2) was built on a former farm dating from the beginning of this century. Each cave has kept its own original character, but is equipped with modern comfort and equipment.
They are located along a lovely little square with a cosy garden. The park has a communal swimming pool (10x5.5x1.5m; open from May to October). There is even a reception and a restaurant on the park.
The location in the midst of the nature offers you the ideal opportunity to relax wonderfully and to rest, but with the difference that you staying in an authentic cave house, which have been dug up by our ancestors in the heart of the clay hills.

Authentic country house (cortijo) with a communal swimmingpool situated in Zalamea in the province of Huelva in Andalusia. This cortijo is divided in 6 apartments, consisting of 3 apartments equipped with 2 rooms and 3 studios. You are free to use the reception-room with a fireplace, TV and books on information about the region. The 4,5ha property surrounding the cortijo and the riding school are available to use freely. There is a paddle-course available for 2 till 4 players for an extra charge of € 8,- per hour for guests. The holiday home is situated in a quiet area. There are a lot of nice villages in the neighborhood and plenty of things to see. Just 1km away are a few pubs, restaurants and stores. Zalamea is just 6km from Riotinto, the heart of the mining region. You can also find a mining museum that impersonates the mines of 5000 years ago.
Nearby the cortijo you will find el Romerito where you can see pilgrims every second sunday in May. The neighborhood is very suitable for walking, cycling, riding and golf fanatics, the golfcourse is just 6km from the cortijo.

Rustic cottage (65m2) restored in a traditional style. The cottage has ceilings with wooden beams and stone floors and lies in the south of the nature park \"El Torcal de Antequera\" and within 2 km distance from the village La Joya. The cottage is located on an enclosed estate of 15 000m2, together with two other holiday homes. All houses have enough distance from each other, therefore guarantee enough privacy. It has a big garden and from the terrace you have a breathtaking view over the nature parks \"Montes de Malaga\", \"Sierra de Las Nieves\" and the many white villages which lies in the \"Guadalhorce\" valley. On a clear day, you can see the African coast on the horizon. The house is located close to the golf course of Antequera.
This house is the perfect starting point for lovely trips. Visit one of the main towns of the Costa del Sol, Malaga (45km) with its harbours and many beaches. Other cities, which are surely worth visiting, are, Antequera (15km), Granada (105km), Sierra Nevada, Córdoba (120km) and Sevilla (185 km).
