| LA BELLE VUE, ST FORT SUR GIRONDE

This charming villa is in the Charente-Maritime and set against a hill. It is full of atmosphere and has its own private swimming pool. The apartment is on the ground floor of the newly built villa. It is in a quiet area with a fabulous panoramic view of the valley and of the Gironde, Europe’s largest tidal river. The apartment is well equipped, has comfortable furniture and its own terrace and entrance. The village of Saint Fort sur Gironde is near the banks of the Gironde and set in a hilly landscape. The village has 1000 inhabitants. You’ll find a baker, grocer, bank and post office there.
The ‘Marais’ is former marshland along the banks of the Gironde. It is a protected wild bird sanctuary and starts around 500m from the apartment. The sea is about 1.5 km away. You’ll find small fishing harbours and marinas, such as Port Maubert and Mortagne. They are very good for fish restaurants. The water level falls dramatically at low tide and the harbours become almost dry.
The vineyards of the Medoc are on the other side of the Gironde with such famous wines as St. Emilion, Paillac, St. Estephe and many more.

In the heart of the Périgord Noir, close to Sarlat, Les Eyzies and the caves of Lascaux, an old, independent, stone-built house (70 m2) on 1 hectare of level terrain with trees, situated in a peaceful environment with a very beautiful view. The estate also includes two other connected cottages (code FR-24250-02) and a communal swimming-pool (10 x 5 m), all lodgings have an open view. Ideal situation to visit the lovely villages of the Périgord Noir (in a radius of 50 km: Sarlat, Beynac, La Roque-Gageac, Domme, Les Eyzies, Périgueux...), Lascaux-caves 30 min. Numerous sportive activities (canoo on the Dordogne, hikes, rock-climbing..), and not to mention the excellent gastronomy in this region.

The cottages are situated in the listed hamlet of Veyrignac, 12 km from Sarlat and 500 metres from the river Dordogne. Close to a canoeing centre, a number of activities are offered on site: mountain bikes, shared 7x14 swimming pool, table tennis, pétanque, walks, shared garden (7,000 m2), etc.

An old but entirely renewed barn in the caracteristic Périgord-noir style, at a 15 ha green property on the edge of a brooklet.
Three nice holidayhouses have been constructed of which
2 detached and 1 individual.
The houses have charm and share a nice, fenced pool(10 x 5).
Several sportif possibilities available:
(tabletennis, tablefoothball, volleyball, foothball);
possibilities to take classes in bow- and arrow shooting and horsebackriding (horses of the owners), ask the owners for it.
Plenty of walking- and mountainbiketrails available
(free use of mtb\'s).
And if you feel like making a trip, the Périgord-noir area has a lot to offer too, like the castles, the citadels, the prehistorical spots, mediaeval villages...
And don\'t forget to taste the famous Périgord gastronomy!

Surroudings; Casteljaloux lies approx. 98 km. south-east of Bordeax and is a genuine, friendly tourist place in where there is a lot to do. Besides the many seeing sights in the cultural area, the environment of Casteljaloux also has an 18-holes gold course and 6 tennis courts. It also has approx. 100 shops, where you can nicely shop. Refreshment you can find in and at the Le Lac de Clarens lake of approx. 17 ha. which lies 2 km. from the centre. Here you find several sandy beaches on one side (of which one is guarded), a golf course, restaurant, beach bar, mini golf, beach volleyball field, childrens playground, riding school and kayak rental, water bicycles and surf boards. On the other side a thermal source. Here one built a modern and high standard thermal centre in where you find a.o. several saunas, baths, Jacuzzis and a hammam. You can also use Casteljaloux as a starting point for several hiking trips, of a boat trip on the Garonne or the Lot. The park; Holiday park Demeures du Lac lies directly at the Lac de Clarens and a nice (fine) sandy beach, in the middle of a forest of approx. 30 ha.
