The terrace to the front is ideal for sunbathing and barbecues. The house is perfect for walking the Auvezere Circuit which takes you along the Auvezere River gorge where you can canoe or simply visit the beautiful ancient Forge de Savignac. Spend the day swimming, boating or water-skiing at the Rouffiac Lake and leisure centre. Or perhaps the beautifully laid out French gardens of Hautefort chateau (20 mins) are more your style.
Situated on the edge of the Perigord Vert, \"Le Verger\" is also well positioned for discovering France\'s truffle capital, Perigueux, as well as the famous Dordogne villages (Sarlat, Les Eyzies, Brantome, Beynac and La Roque Gageac are well within 70 kms).

This old detached house is above a small, quiet valley near the River Vezere. The house is full of character and was renovated some years ago. It is furnished in a country style and has charming antique furniture. The stable has been converted into a large living room with French doors leading to terraces. There is a wooded slope behind the house with pleasant seating areas and delightful views. The long narrow terrace at the front side of the house is surrounded by fragrant rosemary and lavender. The fascinating surrounding area has beautiful old towns, markets, castles, restaurants, gardens and a climbing park. The famous pre-historic cave paintings of Lascaux are only six kilometres away. Les Eyzies is ten kilometres away and has a number of caves and a famous museum. The area also has beautiful stalactite caves. The town of Sarlat is just 25 kilometres away and is in the heart of the Perigord Noir region. The town has a rich history. The old town centre has been renovated and is a monument in itself. (tabletennis, tablefoothball, volleyball, foothball);
possibilities to take classes in bow- and arrow shooting and horsebackriding (horses of the owners), ask the owners for it.
Plenty of walking- and mountainbiketrails available
(free use of mtb\'s).
And if you feel like making a trip, the Périgord-noir area has a lot to offer too, like the castles, the citadels, the prehistorical spots, mediaeval villages...

Here you will find La Combe de Brague\" (300m2, dating from the 16th and 18th century. Originally, \"La Combe de Brague\" was one of the adjacent castle of Bevnac belonging to the farm. The house is fully renovated conserving the many authentic elements.
A swimming pool (9 x 4m) is situated in a sunny part, enclosed by high rocks, and a fenced off inner garden. Over its own property of 8ha meadows and forest runs a hiking path, via its own caves, to the mediaeval castle of Bevnac. The park has centuries old trees and fruit trees. Peacocks and chickens wander freely. The house is a stone\'s throw from the village of Mussidan with its shops and facilities. The house is full of character and can accommodate up to twelve people.

The golf course (9 holes 27 par) is ideal for the ambitious beginner, but also very suitable to improve your game. The swimming pool is completely enclosed by a terrace and a hedge of bay leave bushes for the necessary privacy. There is a sauna, shower,
