\"Le Verger\" is a charming and comfortable old stone house (180 m2) set in it\'s own gardens with views onto the rolling Perigord countryside. The terrace to the front is ideal for sunbathing and barbecues. The house is perfect for walking the Auvezere Circuit which takes you along the Auvezere River gorge where you can canoe or simply visit the beautiful ancient Forge de Savignac. Spend the day swimming, boating or water-skiing at the Rouffiac Lake and leisure centre. Or perhaps the beautifully laid out French gardens of Hautefort chateau (20 mins) are more your style.
Situated on the edge of the Perigord Vert, \"Le Verger\" is also well positioned for discovering France\'s truffle capital, Perigueux, as well as the famous Dordogne villages (Sarlat, Les Eyzies, Brantome, Beynac and La Roque Gageac are well within 70 kms).

| FONTACHOULET, CHALEIX

This traditional 120 year old farmhouse is on the Fontachoulet Country Estate in the Dordogne. The large detached country house is equipped with every modern convenience.
The holiday home is part of the house. It is comfortably and tastefully furnished.
Fontachoulet is a very large estate with grounds of around 18,000 m2. The grounds are fully enclosed with a trellis fence which will prevent children wandering off. There is a swing and tree house in the orchard. It is a perfect place for a picnic. You can also enjoy a campfire or relax in the large hammock.
The scenery around the farmhouse is made up of hills, woods, small lakes and brooks. The village of La Coquille is 7 km away and Thiviers is 11 km. You will find supermarkets, a baker, butcher and grocer in the villages. You can enjoy many excellent restaurants in the area. Specialities of the region include foie gras, confit de canard, truffles and nuts. Famous cities such as Bergerac, Cahors and St Emilion are each around 90 minutes away by car. The cottages are situated in the listed hamlet of Veyrignac, 12 km from Sarlat and 500 metres from the river Dordogne. Close to a canoeing centre, a number of activities are offered on site: mountain bikes, shared 7x14 swimming pool, table tennis, pétanque, walks, shared garden (7,000 m2), etc.

The house is situated in a beautiful, quiet natural landscape with orchards, sunflowers, vineyards and woods. It is perfect for long walks and bike rides. The region has many attractive small villages which are worth visiting. The Lot, Garonne and Baise rivers are not far away. You can also visit the larger cities such as Bordeaux, Agen and Bergerac. The mansion is ideal for families with children because of the marvellous garden which is lit in the evenings. The garden has walking paths, beautiful lawns on where you can sun bath or play, a little bower, a waterfall, a fountain, a swimming pool (7x14 m.) and toddlers pool (5x5 m.) with shower and toilet. You have a spacious covered terrace with bar, a television area for the children and in the garden one can practice many activities such as volleyball, jeu de boules, swing, play darts, badminton, table tennis or a large Mikado game.
The holiday house is near a lake in where you can fish at 50 m. and the beach lies at 400 m. distance. The beach is guarded by a bay watch in the high season. In the heart of the Périgord Noir, close to Sarlat, Les Eyzies and the caves of Lascaux, an old, detached building of nature stone (200 m2), completely renovated and extended, situated in a very peaceful hamlet. The house has 3 levels (the 3rd floor gives entrance to two mezzanines, which overlooks the main area), 2 gardens, 1 not furnished annex, which is close to the BBQ, with table for 12 persons. Between the two buildings, perfectly isolated, yet close to the house, a private swimming pool (10 x 4 m) with meadows and reclining chairs. Well-equipped and beautifully furnished house with stylish furniture. Ideal location to visit the lovely village of the Périgord Noir (in a radius of 50 km: Sarlat, Beynac, La Roque-Gageac, Domme, Les Eyzies, Périgueux...), caves of Lascaux 30 min. Many sports activities (canoe on the Dordogne, hikes, mountain climbing...), and not forgetting the wonderful kitchen in this region.
