Le Camus is a truly tranquil location, ideal for barbecues, relaxing with a book and a drink, watching the bird life, sketching the scenery, strolling or fishing beside the nearby river.
The gîtes at Le Camus have been carefully renovated to create comfortable and well equipped homes that are suitable for year round use. We have tried to ensure they are places we would chose to stay in ourselves, and we personally maintain them.
Le Petit Camus (sleeps 4) has been completely renovated to a high standard in 2008, and now provides an extremely comfortable holiday retreat, while retaining its original charm. Oak beams, a-frames and ceiling boards have been restored; a traditional log burner provides a focal point whilst modern electric heaters and ample insulation ensure the property is comfortable year round. Le Petit Camus has two bedrooms - one King sized double, and one with twin beds, which can be joined together to form a Super King.

Pretty, independent holiday home, built using attractive local stone. You can unwind in your private relaxation room with a sauna, shower and 4-person spa. The glass door of this room takes you straight out onto the terrace and large garden.
The house is located in a small hamlet with the nearest shops 2km away.
Close by are many circular trails which can be negotiated by bike or on foot. We are located 100m from the GR34 which goes to Mont St Michel. A magnificent lake (although private) is worth visiting for a walk. 2 km away is a legendary forest known as Saut Roland.
You are spoiled here when it comes to tourism. Discover the famous medieval castle of Fougères. Its paths were completely refurbished in 2009. Mont St Michel is 30 minutes away. This authentic holiday house lies not far from the historical town Saint-Malo. In the cosy town there is a lot of entertainment in the evenings, such as street performances. In the summer season the beach is supervised, so you can come here with you children safely. This rustic holiday house lies in a dead end street, through which it is very peacefully situated. The holiday house is very rustic because of the use of a lot of wood and bricks in the finishing of the interior. In the living room you will have access to a large stone fire place, where in the evening, you can enjoy a glass of wine with a lovely warm fire. In the open kitchen you can pleasantly cook, while the children play games at the dining table. Several shops are at a stones throw away from the house: bakery, butcher, pharmacy, small supermarket, restaurant, sailing school etc.
