This beautiful Maison de Maître is located in southern Brittany in the spa town of La Foret-Fouesnant, frequented by painters, artists and other famous people. The bay is 100 metres from the house and the sea and beach are 2 km away. There are also various water sports on offer. The centre of La Foret-Fouesnant is 200 metres away from the residence. There are restaurants everywhere in the region. This holiday residence is 200 metres away from an 18 hole golf course. The furnishing of this spacious holiday residence is comfortable. The traditional architectural style is still to be seen in the residence. You will find an open hearth in the residence, which unfortunately cannot be used, and a piano. Cancale is a pleasant fishing village in the north of Brittany. The village is in Mont St. Michel Bay. You can see the famous landmark in the distance. Hameau Des Douets Fleuris is at the edge of Cancale. It is set in grounds and next to the owner\'s house. The pleasantly furnished gîtes have their own terrace. There is a large, shared garden with seating. The holiday home is suitable for two adults and two children. The small town is 16 km east of the pirate town of St. Malo. In St. Malo you can walk on the ancient city walls. You can stroll along the Cancale Boulevard and enjoy the pavement cafes and fish restaurants. You can also visit the local fish market, little shops and museums. Cancale is the oyster and mussel centre of France. You may also enjoy a ferry boat trip to the nearby Channel Islands.

The Ancienne Gendarmerie is in a quiet side street, approx. 100 metres from the Atlantic so that you have a marvellous view over the sea and the Ile de Groix from your rooms. Le Pouldu invites you to swim and take long walks on the cliff paths. The surrounding countryside is densely wooded and there are 5 different sandy bays within walking distance. Just follow the roar of the sea to the beach!
Shopping facilities (for bread, vegetables, groceries and foreign newspapers) are approx. 2 minutes walk from the house (only open in the peak season). Outside the season there is a bakery and a grocery shop 1 km away. There are other shops and supermarkets in nearby villages and towns. It is possible to buy freshly caught fish and seafood in the small romantic port of Doelan.
Locally there is a pancake bar, restaurants, a pizzeria and cafés. A very good fish restaurant in the port of Le Pouldu is highly recommended (some catering establishments are only open in the peak season). |  | | Click photos for details |  |

Les Peupliers is situated in Morbihan, the southernmost departement of Brittany. The cottage is close to Josselin, famous for its fairytale chateau overlooking the river. There are many secluded sandy beaches within easy reach. The area is ideal for cycling and we have a stock of 8 bikes which are available for use. There are a number of excellent golf courses in the vicinity.
The cottage has a large living room with a mezzanine bedroom above. There is a good sized, well appointed, kitchen and a large dining area with dining table to seat 8. Above the kitchen and dining room area are two further good sized bedrooms. Altogether there are three double beds, four single beds and a cot. There is also a high chair, baby buggy/ pushchair, baby monitor, bottle sterlizer, and baby bath & changing mat. In the basement there is a half size snooker/ pool table and a dartboard. In the living room we have a selection of toys and also some children’s books and board games. For adults we have a library of over 200 hard back and paperback books.
