| THE COUNT HOUSE, Calstock Sleeping up to 2 people
Okel Tor is acknowledged by English Heritage to be one of the best surviving 19th century tin mines nationally and has recently been added to the list of scheduled ancient monuments.
The Count House is the former mine captain's office and the Smithy was the workshop of the mine where miners' picks were sharpened. Both cottages are Grade II Listed and situated in an elevated position within approximately 16 acres of natural woodland and lowland heath on the banks of the River Tamar with beautiful views of Devon. There are a number of interesting ruins and an abundance of flora and fauna.
Dartmoor, Bodmin Moor and the sandy beaches at Whitsand Bay are just a short drive away. The National Trusts enchanting Cotehele House is within walking distance and the Tamar Valley Discovery Trail actually passes through Okel Tor.
Please note - there is a £20 charge for pets per week or part of week.

Trewerry Mill is a 17th century former water-mill nestling in a peaceful valley just 4 miles from the North Cornish coast.
The Granary cottages are newly converted, quality holiday accommodation for couples and families, sleeping 2 and 4, and adjoins the Grade II listed Mill. It shares over 3 acres of tranquil riverside gardens, with terraces and a wildlife pond, peaceful places to sit and stroll along a peaceful old railway line.
It is an ideal base, centrally located, from which to visit the gardens of Cornwall and for coastal walks - most parts of the county can be reached in 30-45 minutes by car. The cathedral city of Truro is 8 miles, the award winning Eden Project just 25 minutes and the new National Maritime Museum at Falmouth is about 20 miles.
