Cómpeta is a lively town with more than 30 restaurants, terraces and tapas bars in the mountains (height 640m.). The area around the town advertises itself with the slogan \'El mejor clima de Europa\', the best climate of Europe. Bordered along the apartment is a nature area of approx. 42.000 hectares, the \'Sierra de Tejeda y de Almijara\', a must for all hiking fanatics (the owner have hiking routes available). In the summer it is possible to horse ride in the nature area and the beach is within a half hours drive. Cómpeta is situated within 1 hours drive from airport Málaga, and further a fine starting point for day excursions to these towns, Granada, Cordoba and Ronda.
