The urbanisation Pinemar is one of the outskirts of Pineda de mar and only 800-2000m away from the city centre. In this district are contracted an amount of duplex houses, ca. 1-2,5km from the beach. These are detached properties with an upper and down home, each with its own entrance and balcony with garden furniture. The holiday houses are owned by different owners (who live in 1 of the apartments) and therefore the interior can vary somewhat from each other. It is not possible to express your preference. There is also a lot of natural light. There are three bedrooms, two of which contain double beds and the other 2 singles. This is an ideal apartment for a family and has a very relaxing atmosphere. The walking time to the Ramblas and the center of Barcelona is around ten minutes. The area itself houses many good restaurants and bars and this area is a little more up market and peaceful than the hustle and bustle of the Ramblas. Also in around 15 minutes you can walk to the area of Monjuic. There are several places of interest here. You have the Royal Palace here with fantastic views of Barcelona. There is also the Fuentes de Magica, which are fountains which display colours in time to a variety of different music with everything from Abba to Beethoven. The Joan Miro museum is also located on the hill behind the Palace, who is considered one of Barcelona’s most famous surrealist Catalan painters. You can also experience the Botanical Gardens this is an ongoing experiment to adapt many plants from different countries to the Mediterranean climate.
