The road ends in a cul-de-sac so there is no through traffic and the surrounding countryside which is designated as an area of outstanding beauty is ideal for walking.
At the property visitors will enjoy seeing the owners own animals including, dogs, cats, sheep, lambs, goats, horses, ponies and free range chickens.
Like all the dwellings in the village, the two cottages are delightful stone built properties carefully converted in 1988 and 1990 from part of the original grain and hay loft of a fine Edwardian stable block. The building works have been carefully completed by local craftsmen to create homes full of character with exposed stonework and timber beams, and fitted out to the highest standards.
There are numerous easy footpaths including the Cotswold Way. In the centre of the village is the 12th century church of St Michael.
