The cottages are well off a quiet lane, converted character single storey farm buildings around a south facing courtyard, with spacious open living/kitchen areas, shower rooms and an extra bathroom in the largest 3 bed cottage. Three good pubs, village shop and The Cotswold way are within a two mile radius.
Bath, Bristol and Gloucester (30 minutes) for theatre, concerts, museums, zoo etc. Enjoy visiting pretty Cotswold towns and villages, or complete isolation and tranquillity.

In the surrounding area are many historic properties, interesting gardens, nature reserves and numerous leisure activities.

stroll away and serves delicious home-cooked meals
and local beer. The idyllic Cotswold Villages of Stow-on-
the-Wold, Chipping Campden and Broadway are within easy
reach. There are lovely walks and plenty of historic towns
and sites to visit. We have been told that we are friendly

The cottage features a natural timbered vaulted ceiling in the lounge and a restored Victorian spiral staircase leading down to the comfortable double bedroom.
There is ample off-road private parking with even room for your trailed boat or small caravan.
The Alum House is located just 50 yards from Thomas Telford’s iron bridge over the River Severn and is ideally placed for miles of riverside walks along both the Severn & Avon. Boat launching is nearby and we can even provide temporary moorings for a trailed boat if you wish. Well-placed as a centre for touring - the Cotswolds and Malvern Hills are less than half an hour away, as is the Spa town of CHELTENHAM renowned for its excellent shopping. STRATFORD, BROADWAY, BOURTON etc. are within a 25 mile radius.

Woolstone is small, quiet rural village, just a few houses and an ancient church, on the side of the Cotswold Hills overlooking the Severn Valley. It is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with extensive views to the Forest of Dean, the Malvern Hills, Bredon Hill and on a clear day, the Brecon Beacons. All around is good walking and riding country. The next village, half-a-mile away has a good pub with a restaurant, a village shop/post office and a riding stables.
Within a radius of 6 miles are Cheltenham, Winchcombe and Tewkesbury. Cheltenham has an excellent shopping, a theatre, museums, restaurants and a famous racecourse.
