Bradley Burn Cottages are situated centrally on a modern 360 acre farm. All have been carefully renovated to preserve their original character and provide well furnished, comfortable accommodation with modern amenities.
The farm is on the edge of the North Pennines and offers excellent sightseeing opportunities. Nearby Wolsingham also offers a good range of small shops and friendly pubs. There are also facilities for swimming, golf, fishing, pony trekking and dry slope skiing within a short drive.

| STUDIO COTTAGE, Barnard Castle Sleeping up to 2 people
6 Cottages - East Briscoe Farm lies 2 miles outside the Teesdale village of Cotherstone in a beautiful, rural, south facing position. Cotherstone is a delightful village situated where the River Balder joins the River Tees 4 miles from Barnard Castle. It is a thriving village with a general store and two pubs which serve meals.
The farmhouse and adjoining barns have been converted to form seven cottages, one of which is occupied by the owners. Constructed of local sandstone, the buildings retain many original features typical of the farms of the North Pennines, with some open fireplaces, beamed ceilings and original stonework.
The cottages have accommodation of a high quality, heated by adjustable electric storage heating with supplementary gas or open fires. There is a large garden area and ample parking space. Visitors are free to wander over the 13 acres of adjoining fields, woods and riverside. There is approximately 1/4 mile of free trout fishing for guests on the River Balder. Pets are welcome to Studio, Barn and Low Barn Cottages, provided dogs are kept on a lead at all times outside the cottages except in the field set aside for pets exercise.

A beautiful 17th Century grade 2 listed character cottage centrally located for both the historic city of Durham and the pretty market town of Barnard Castle and Teesdale.
Ideal for romantic breaks situated in the heart of the Northern Dales, perfect for walking and birdwatching or just relaxing and doing nothing.
Innkeepers Cottage, as the name suggests, was once the residence of the local innkeeper in the 17th Century. Today it has been sympathetically refurbished to an exceptionally high standard and has retained many period features, including exposed timber beams, wooden floors and original fireplaces.
Ideally situated on the banks of the river Wear, the village is surrounded by beautiful open countryside with glorious scenic walks. There are two village pubs, both serving food with evening entertainment, and a passenger steam railway stops at Frosterley station on its run between Wolsingham and Stanhope.

The open plan living room has dining and well equipped kitchen areas. A curving staircase leads to 2 single bedrooms and bathroom with small bath tub with shower. The smaller single bedroom has a junior divan.
Another narrow staircase leads to the cosy, beamed, double-bedded loft bedroom. Price reduction if bringing own bed linen.
