Ashmeadow is a 12 year old, detached house, recently upgraded kitchen. It is adjacent to a meadow and has elevated estuary. Fells views from the conservatory and main bedroom. It is the perfect location for touring the lakes, dales and coastal area. Arnside is a charming unspoilt holiday resort on the Kent estuary.
The area is designated "area of outstanding natural beauty" and has many spectacular walks from Ashmeadow. the Albion and Fighting Cocks pubs on the front serve good food and beer!. There is easy access to junction 35 & 36 M6 with Kendal only about 11 miles & Windermere about 15 miles. Grange-over-Sands is about 8 minutes by train over the viaduct. National cycle routes are nearby and the RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss is only a couple of miles.

This quaint 18th Century coaching inn estate was recently converted to form 3 character cottages, situated in the centre of a picturesque Cumbrian village, with an excellent pub serving food just a 5 minute walk away.
Newly decorated with luxury furnishings, the original oak beams and stone walls have been preserved to give the cottages true character. The kitchens are fully fitted with modern facilities and stocked with all the basic essentials. A welcome pack will guide you around the local area; fresh tea, coffee, bread and milk will be left to greet you from your journey.
Walk from the door to enjoy Heversham’s beautiful views and stunning sunsets over the Lakeland fells and estuary. The quaint market town of Kendal is on the doorstep, with Windermere the closest lake and easy access to the Yorkshire Dales and villages. Broad Ing Cottage is situated on the fringe of the village of Tirril, which nestles on the edge of the Lake District National Park.
The Cottage is deceptively spacious and equipped to a very high standard, with all rooms on one level. It is in a private and peaceful location - perfect for relaxing.
Ullswater Lake with its’ spectacular views is two miles away.
The market town of Penrith is three miles, and the village of Pooley Bridge just two miles.

Armathwaite, nestling in the outstanding Eden Valley.
It has many charming features such as a rayburn, log burner,
exposed sandstone and beams throughout.
A 5 minute walk takes you to the two excellent village pubs with busy restaurants. The broad Eden river and its bridge are a
predominant feature of the village with sandstone cliffs plunging down to turbulent rapids, appealing to walkers, canoeists, climbers, fishermen and bikers.
The Lake District and Carlisle are only a short journey. The

Originally the village school house, the original cottage dates back to the 1780's, and now offers a high standard of accommodation with superb views across the fells and mountains from all windows.
Threlkeld is a small village, 5 minutes drive from Keswick, situated at the foot of the magnificent mountain Blencathra, which is very popular with fell walkers. The cottage is ideally located for those looking for a quieter base in which to explore the northern fells with many walks and cycling tracks right on the doorstep.
The popular town of Keswick has many attractions including tropical leisure swimming pool, motor museum, theatre and parks as well as shops, pubs and restaurants. With Derwent Water, Thirlmere and Bassenthwaite lakes close by this is a great holiday base, whatever time of year.

| WALK MILL COTTAGE, Duddon Bridge Sleeping up to 6 people
This cottage, situated in a quiet location within an acre of ground bordered by a trout stream, which is a tributary of the River Duddon, is in ideal walking country with direct access onto open fell.
Only three miles from Broughton-in-Furness with four excellent pubs, good shops, cycle hire etc. Oil-fired central heating and double-glazed windows throughout. The upstairs lounge takes advantage of the extensive open views and has one of two open fires. With one double bedroom, two twin bedrooms, bathroom and shower room, this is an ideal spot away from the crowds yet within easy reach of the central Lakesland fells and nearby sandy beaches.
