Full of 18th Century character and charm, cosy Gardener's Cottage nestles against the owners' Victorian mansion house and is set in 4 acres of mature walled gardens and woodland through which a river flows.
Gardener's Cottage has been sympathetically refurbished to provide comfortable accommodation for 2/4 people (plus a baby). It is located on the edge of a village, on the peaceful south western side of the Lake District National Park with views of the lower fells. It is in the midst of beautiful scenery and easy access to wonderful walks.
<b>10 minutes drive away are the Muncaster Castle, the World Owl Centre and "The Laal Ratty" Eskdale and Ravenglass miniature steam railway. Great Gable, Scafell and Wastwater are also within 30 minutes drive.</B>

No3 Randle How is an 18th Century Cottage situated in Eskdale Green in the heart of the Esk valley.
Eskdale is a beautiful unspoilt valley on the western side of the Lake District National Park. The river Esk runs down the valley, starting among the highest mountains in England and ending in Ravenglass on the coast. At the top of the valley are Hard Knot Roman Fort and the road over to Ambleside. Train and river run down to the small village of Eskdale Green and on to Ravenglass on the coast. Near to Ravenglass is Muncaster Castle with its famous gardens and Owl Centre. The Valley also has five excellent pubs with Real Ale and good food.

There are many walks leaving directly from the village. Across the lake is Grizedale forest whilst to the rear of the Cottage tower the Old Man of Coniston, Wetherlam and the Yewdale Fells. Boat and cycle hire are available locally and many activities can be enjoyed both on the lake and around the village.<p>

Renovated to comfortable modern standards, the cottage offers well-equipped accommodation. There is an attractive enclosed garden with facilities for relaxation and outdoor dining, together with summerhouse/bicycle storage.

a small working farm in north Cumbria between Carlisle and Gretna Green with a selection of carefully designed quality accommodation all with views, either over woodland, the garden, fields or hills.<p>
MEADOW View is a large four-bedroom bungalow sleeping eight. with double, single, triple and twin rooms.
Then there is BURN COTTAGE this is a barn conversion with a family bedroom on the first floor and an en-suite twin bedroom on the ground floor.
ALD PALLYARDS, is all on the ground floor with ramped access complete with two bedrooms. One en-suite twin and the other having a four-poster bed with an additional bed if needed.
All cottages have central heating and are Tourist Board Inspected to 3-4 star and have a large garden area. Meals are available in our main dining room and we hold a residential licence. A half board package is also available on request.
