base for touring and excursions include Blarney Castle,
Ardmore Tower, Jamieson Whiskey Centre, Waterford Crystal

Priest Bridge Cottage is one of 4 cottages in a terrace of mill labourers dwellings. Originally the terrace was built as six two room units. One room upstairs and one room downstairs. The original back wall of the property can be seen in the thick stone wall at the back of the living room.
On the edge of Tollymore Forest Park and the Mourne Mountains to the west, situated on the Shimna River, this area designated as "an Area of Outsanding Natural beauty" offeers a lot of scope for those enjoying the outdoor life.

The Sandpiper was an old school house which was recently rebuilt to a high specification as a holiday home . It is located near Cranfield between Kilkeel and Rostrevor. It has panoramic views of the Mourne Mountains, Irish Sea and Carlingford Lough. Situated in this picturesque area Sandpiper is good for a family beach holiday, a mountain walking holiday and ideal as a base for those who would like to tour around this beautiful location.
It is 1 hours drive from Belfast and 2 hrs from Dublin. The nearby charming fishing port of Kilkeel offers a good supermarket and excellent small shops, pubs and restaurants. Other attractions include good beaches a short walk away; golf, pony trekking and fishing.

For over 300 years, this idyllic thatched cottage has stood at the heart of the lovely and tranquil village of Puckane, beside the shores of Shannon's Lough Derg. Peg's Cottage has recently been restored, taking care to retain its traditional appearance and features (half-gate door, turf/log-burning stove etc.) whilst providing all modern conveniences essential to the modern traveller (large kitchen/dining area and modern bathroom. Our bedlinen is good quality and our towels are white and fluffy.
Puckane's village stores and 2 pubs are a minute's stroll from the cottage where traditional live music is a regular event.

Hill walking and fishing are one of many activities to choose from. It is also home to the "Glens Visitor Centre" which hosts concerts, drama, recitals and sculpture classes. The famous Lough Gill is a mear 10-minute drive away and situated on its own shores is the famous "Parkes Castle" and well worth a visit. Bundoran and Mullaghmore are seaside resorts just a half hours drive. Sligo Town is situated South of Manorhamilton and is just a 20-minute drive away.
