<b>It offers luxurious, cosy accommodation</b> for couples all year round including Christmas and New Year.
Deal offers an unspoilt seafront, good high street shops, fine restaurants, golf courses (incidently, Golf Pro Lee Westwood stayed at Shrimp Cottage during the 2003 Open Golf Championship at The Royal St Georges at Sandwich), fishing off the pier or beach, Deal, Dover and Walmer castles, and many fine sandy beaches.
The cottage is near Dover port for day trips to Calais for shopping or sightseeing.

There is a wealth of walks and cycle routes; only a short distance away is the ever-popular North Downs Way. Folkestone and the Channel Tunnel are only a short distance away.

Close enough to Dover for day trips to France, Deal has plenty to offer, with nearby castles and gardens to visit and three golf courses. The quietness of the conservation area is contrasted by the bustle of the town with its antiques and gift shops. There are many nearby pubs, cafes and restaurants, and plenty of walks to enjoy, either along the coast or inland to pretty villages.

Dumpton Ridge is near the beach at Dumpton Gap and a pleasant walk away from the town centre. Lots of sandy beaches and nice walks,
and good access to Canterbury, Whitstable and Sandwich, ferry
