The Old School House is an attractive 3 bedroom detached cottage in the popular Lakeland village of Threlkeld nr Keswick. Originally the village school house, the original cottage dates back to the 1780's, and now offers a high standard of accommodation with superb views across the fells and mountains from all windows.
Threlkeld is a small village, 5 minutes drive from Keswick, situated at the foot of the magnificent mountain Blencathra, which is very popular with fell walkers. The cottage is ideally located for those looking for a quieter base in which to explore the northern fells with many walks and cycling tracks right on the doorstep.
The popular town of Keswick has many attractions including tropical leisure swimming pool, motor museum, theatre and parks as well as shops, pubs and restaurants. With Derwent Water, Thirlmere and Bassenthwaite lakes close by this is a great holiday base, whatever time of year.

| WALK MILL COTTAGE, Duddon Bridge

This cottage, situated in a quiet location within an acre of ground bordered by a trout stream, which is a tributary of the River Duddon, is in ideal walking country with direct access onto open fell.
Only three miles from Broughton-in-Furness with four excellent pubs, good shops, cycle hire etc. Oil-fired central heating and double-glazed windows throughout. The upstairs lounge takes advantage of the extensive open views and has one of two open fires. With one double bedroom, two twin bedrooms, bathroom and shower room, this is an ideal spot away from the crowds yet within easy reach of the central Lakesland fells and nearby sandy beaches.
Pets welcome. An ideal spot to wind down.

Bleaberry Lodge is a detached house with stunning views of Skiddaw, Latrigg and Helvellyn range.
Recently refurbished, the house has a dining kitchen with Aga and fell views. The lounge has a woodburning stove and superb fell and garden views . There is also a “snug” with bay window and fell views. Additionally there is a utility room, with washing machine and tumble dryer and a downstairs cloakroom.
All three bedrooms have valley and fell views. One master bedroom, another double, and a twin room. Shower room and family bathroom.
Outside, the front garden has furniture to make the most of the stunning views. To the rear, there are two acres of grass and woodland to explore, with private access into Whinlatter Forest. There is also a small orchard, and a couple of swings

There are open views from the cottage and although it is a quiet position it is not isolated, there being several other cottages and bungalows in the immediate vicinity. A garden seat, picnic table and 4 chairs are available in the garden.
The cottage is situated in a small hamlet 3/4 mile from Levens village and 6 miles south of Kendal on the fringe of the English Lake District. it is easily reached from the M6 motorway and the Kendal link road, being approximately 1.6 miles from latter.
The nearest village, Levens, is just 15 minutes walk away and consists of a Post Office, Hairdressers and a General Store selling newspapers in addition to general provisions. There is a Public House, the Hare & Hounds, further 5 minutes walk from the village and two further Public Houses within two miles of the cottage.
