It overlooks the green with views of the picturesque church.
Originally part of a farm, Midtown
House was converted from the gincase and barns and retains
a wealth of exposed beams throughout. It is extremely
spacious yet homely.
The multifuel stove provides central heating and gives a cosy focal point in the large
living/dining room which has ample comfy seating and a dining table which can accommodate everyone.

Routen House offers gracious self catering holiday accommodation for up to twelve people. Originally a Victorian Country Farmhouse, it stands proudly by Ennerdale Water, one of the most spectacular and secluded lakes in the Lake District, Cumbria. The house itself has four acres of it's own land with pastures stretching down towards the lake. In the garden there is a feeling of peace with panoramic views of the high fells and the lake. The separate paddock has a bubbling stream that commences its journey in the mountains and finally into the lake.
Built more than 150 years ago, Routen House has been extensively refurbished and redecorated over the past few years. Spacious and sleeping 12 (plus cot) it is ideal for large family gatherings or for parties of walkers and friends.
The unspoiled, tranquil valley of Ennderdale is an ideal starting point for hundreds of walks - from gentle lakeside strolls to energetic mountain hikes (the views of Ennerdale and Buttermere lakes from the high fells are a stunning reward); rock climbing (a good base from which to approach Pillar); mountain biking in Ennerdale forest and fishing in the lake (permit required); pony trekking and quad-biking (available nearby).

This early 20th century detached house of great character offers spacious simple accommodation and is set in approximately five acres of woodland in a secluded position. It has many features of that period including art nouveau style stained glass, woodwork, and oak panelled staircase.
It is set high above the head of Lake Windermere. There is plenty of walking in the area and the centre of Ambleside is approximately one mile away. An ideal holiday home for large family groups with children.
Access to the property is by steep, rough, narrow, single track. If it snows or there is ice, you must leave your cars at the bottom of the track and walk. It is approximately 1/2 mile.
This property has a private water supply.

Inglecroft is a spacious but homely barn conversion retaining many original features plus a galleried dining area which overlooks the lounge with open fire.
Situated in the village of Plumbland it is close to the market town of Cockermouth which hosts a wide range of shops, restaurants and visitor attractions.
Inglecroft enjoys uninterrupted views over open farm land toward the Lake District Fells with many pleasant walks. Horse riding and fly fishing are available locally also a pub serving good bar food within walking distance.
Enjoy the stunning scenery of the quiet unspoilt lakes, explore the coastal towns and villages along the Solway or just relax at Inglecroft. Whatever your interests, the location has activities to suit all ages.

Overlooking the quiet, unspoilt Howgill Mountains Fawcett Mill is situated only 2 miles from the M6 motorway and is hidden in its own tranquil valley, with a stream running from an adjacent waterfall through 7 acres of meadowland. Built in 1794 as the mill owner's house it is furnished in comfortable country style, with oak beams and open hearths throughout. It is equipped to a very high standard with full gas central heating and fitted carpets. Outside, as well as barbecue areas, there are extensive terraces and patios bordering the stream.
Fawcett Mill is an idyllic gathering place for a large family or group of friends. It is perfect for reunions, get togethers, Christmas/New Year/Easter celebrations, or a relaxing break away from it all. Summer or winter the environment and scenery is stunning.

Eskmeals House is a charming Georgian residence dating back to 1761 set in it's own grounds with walled garden and woodland. It is approached down a short lane through woodland.
The House has accommodation for 21 people in 9 bedrooms and is suitable for large families or smaller families wishing to enjoy the space and ambience of a large, Gentleman's residence.
Eskmeals is about 10 mins drive Ravenglass, a beach with sand dunes and estuary leading to the wonderful Eskdale Valley, Wastwater (England's deepest lake) and Scafell (England's highest mountain).
Places of interest include: Muncaster Castle, Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway, Muncaster Mill, the Eskdale Valley and Wasdale.
Resident horses and donkey.
