Holiday home is located in the region of Murcia in the Campo de Ricote (countryside), nestled in amongst the Sierra del Oro (Gold mountains) with breathtaking scenery. The friendly owners built two very comfortable holiday homes in their villa, one for up to 4 persons, the other one for 2 persons. The stylish holiday homes are fully equipped and internet connection is available. They have oil fired central heating installed for those chillier days and nights (usually only January and February). There are outdoor cooking/dinning facilities available. A welcome pack is included in the price!
The area is ideal for cycling mountain biking, bird watching, fishing, for artists, wine lovers or just to simply chill. Situated in two and a half acres of outstanding beauty-with an abundance of almond trees, a landscaped garden terrace/patio and swimming pool, you will feel totally relaxed from the minute you arrive. Ideally situated in heart of the countryside, but within easy reach of both San Javier (Murcia) and Alicante airports. You can also be at the beaches of the Costa Calida within 75 minutes. This comfortable holiday accommodation is on the Mosa Trajectum Golf Sports Resort. There is a communal swimming pool. The resort lies behind the mountain ridge near Murcia in Baños y Mendigo. The holiday accommodation has every convenience. This includes a covered terrace with a view of the swimming pool. Guests can enjoy the communal garden. There is a good golf course on the resort as well as several golf courses in the surrounding area.
The area, with its mountain ridge and protected nature reserve, is excellent for cycling and hiking. The city of Murcia, with its lively shops and restaurants, is only twenty minutes away. You can easily reach Mar Menor beach on the Mediterranean coast. Alicante Airport is about 80 km away. This comfortable, ecologically friendly holiday home is in the province of Murcia and between the towns of Abarán and Blanca. The holiday home nestles amidst almond trees and olive groves. It is surrounded by the Sierra de Oro and Sierra de Ricote mountain ranges. The area is known as the Campo de Ricote and there is plenty to enjoy here. The holiday home is a sixty year old cortijo, or farmhouse. It has been transformed into a comfortable, ecologically friendly holiday home. The home is equipped with every modern convenience. You can enjoy an erected swimming pool with a diameter of three metres during July and August. The owners want to be eco-friendly so energy is provided by five solar panels. These are supplemented by a diesel generator if necessary. The holiday home\'s quality is excellent but it requires an awareness of energy saving. It is the ideal place to enjoy a relaxing country lifestyle far away from mass tourism. The towns of Abarán and Blanca are fifteen minutes away. The city of Murcia, capital of the province, is thirty five minutes away by car. The beaches and sheltered bays of the Costa Calida on the Mediterranean Coast are ideal for water sports. Behind the range of hills lies the authentic student town Murcia (10km.), which is still untouched by the mass tourism. The Murcia region offers countless possibilities, with the provinces Alicante and Valencia in the north and Almeria and Granada in the west. In the nature area against the range of hills, you can horse ride, cycle, and hike and play golf on the beautiful 27 holes golf course on Mosa Trajectum. Other places of interest are diverse markets and wine tasting in the region, traditional fiesta\'s (Semana Santa, Moros y Christianos), theme parks (Terra Mítica) and the cities Murcia, Elche and Alicante.
