The nearest village, St-Clair-sur-Elle provides all the daily needs. St-Lô is only 6 miles away. The Farmhouse is within half an hours drive of the Normandy landing beaches and the beautiful historic city of Bayeux. Le Mont Saint-Michel, la Suisse Normande are all within easy reach. For the sports minded, there is tennis, cycling, golf and horse riding. The area is renowned for its sea and river fishing. There are also activity parks, zoological gardens, many châteaux and historical sites close by. The forest of Cerisy is only 10 minutes away. The house\'s location is ideal to enjoy the countryside and go to the beach. It is located only 8 minutes from STE MERE EGLISE, and near the Landing beaches.
Many walking paths lead to the Natural Park of the Marais du Cotentin. Boating trips on the Douve are accessible from the jetty in Liesville.

Not to mention the fine Normandy food!

From here you will be able to practise green tourism with footpaths and bridle and cycle tracks nearby, or you could go fishing in the river Selune which is not far away.

Beautiful thatched cottage, recently built in Norman style, surrounded by a large garden of wide lawns dotted with fruit trees. The cottage is very well equipped and tastefully decorated. In a small Norman village, this is an ideal jump-off point for visiting Normandy. You are 12km away from Pont l’Eveque, and 25 km from Deauville, Trouville and Honfleur. The Normandy landing beaches are also nearby (about 20-30 km), and you'll find the ZERZA Zoological Park at less than 5 km from the cottage, with animals who roam the grounds and lots of activities for children.
