In the middle of \'Pays d\'Auge\', 5 km from Lisieux, stands an old stylishly restored mill (80 m2) in a beautiful surrounding.
Very cosy!!
It is a perfect starting point to discover this area, the cider routes, the castles and the characteristic villages (Moyaux, Blangny le Chateau, Cambremer), the horse breeding farms and naturally the coast that is within less than 30km (Deauville).

The nearest village, St-Clair-sur-Elle provides all the daily needs. St-Lô is only 6 miles away. The Farmhouse is within half an hours drive of the Normandy landing beaches and the beautiful historic city of Bayeux. Le Mont Saint-Michel, la Suisse Normande are all within easy reach. For the sports minded, there is tennis, cycling, golf and horse riding. The area is renowned for its sea and river fishing. There are also activity parks, zoological gardens, many châteaux and historical sites close by. The forest of Cerisy is only 10 minutes away. There was once, in the west of France, close to the famous Mont St-Michel in Normandy, a middle house (60m2) in a very old bread oven.
During harvest time, they bake bread there in the mornings for the farm hands at the castle.
Would you like to know how this fairy tale ends, then visit the castle. Since the earlier times, the bread oven is transformed into a cute cottage on the estate of the castle. A surrounding filled with peace and comfort.
There is much to do: a visit to the beautiful Mont St Michel, the beaches where the allies landed during the 2nd world war, sea and beach (1/2 hour ), hiking and cycling routes, gastronomy and golf (38km Granville/Breville sur Mer). In the castle beautiful \'chambres d`hotes\' are for rent.
Mont st. Michel 18km, beaches 30km and Saint Malo 55km.
