This detached, recently renovated holiday home is well equipped and comfortably furnished. The home is around 110m2 and has a delightful 2500m2 enclosed garden. The holiday home is in the small village of Saint Germain du Pert and surrounded by the attractive Normandy countryside. The village is in western Normandy in the heart of the beautiful Cotentin Nature Reserve. Isigny sur Mer is only 5 km away and is famous for its cheese and butter. The traditional fishing village of Grandchamp is not far and is well worth a visit. The historic sites of the D-Day landings, such as Omaha Beach, are only 15 km away. A visit to Bayeux near Caen, the city of William the Conqueror, will be the cherry on the cake. Our 300 year old French farmhouse was built before Capt Cook discovered New Zealand, before the French Revolution. Before Nelson & Trafalgar, the battle at Waterloo, The American War of Independence, the Russian Revolution & before Custers last stand against the Indians. Van Gough, Napolean, & Jack the Ripper weren`t even born.
Our gite sleeps up to 6 & is Clean, Quiet, Comfortable, fully equipped, self contained, fully carpeted, self catering 3 double bedroom cottage in the Mayenne countryside, on the borders of Brittany & Normandy. One bedroom has a double bed, the others have two single beds in each. Outside has level grass with Sunloungers, Umbrellas & a roofed Patio. We are half a mile from any traffic. Everyone comments on how quiet & peaceful it is.
We are 2 hours from Caen, Le Mans, Mont St Michel, & St Malo with it`s lovely safe beaches & walled city, 3 hours from Le Havre & Cherbourg, 5 from the Calais region. We supply routes from the ferries, & to anywhere you want to visit. Nearest town is Gorron(3 miles) with good shopping.
