There was once, in the west of France, close to the famous Mont St-Michel in Normandy, a middle house (60m2) in a very old bread oven.
During harvest time, they bake bread there in the mornings for the farm hands at the castle.
Would you like to know how this fairy tale ends, then visit the castle. Since the earlier times, the bread oven is transformed into a cute cottage on the estate of the castle. A surrounding filled with peace and comfort.
There is much to do: a visit to the beautiful Mont St Michel, the beaches where the allies landed during the 2nd world war, sea and beach (1/2 hour ), hiking and cycling routes, gastronomy and golf (38km Granville/Breville sur Mer). In the castle beautiful \'chambres d`hotes\' are for rent.
Mont st. Michel 18km, beaches 30km and Saint Malo 55km.

The holiday home is in the small village of Saint Germain du Pert and surrounded by the attractive Normandy countryside. The village is in western Normandy in the heart of the beautiful Cotentin Nature Reserve. Isigny sur Mer is only 5 km away and is famous for its cheese and butter. The traditional fishing village of Grandchamp is not far and is well worth a visit. The historic sites of the D-Day landings, such as Omaha Beach, are only 15 km away. A visit to Bayeux near Caen, the city of William the Conqueror, will be the cherry on the cake.
