Uzès lies 33 km. south-east of Alès. The nice gîte Audebert is peacefully situated in the cosy village with small streets. The gìte has sole occupation and lies on a beautiful piece of ground with sufficient privacy. The house has been built in the 19th century and is renovated in Provencal style. The interior is neat and well maintained. The house is equipped with mobile air cooling systems (no airco). With the gîte also lies a little lawn on where the children can play. The property has a nice covered terrace where you can quietly eat in the evening and a second not covered one on the other side of the house. There is enough parking space near the gîte. In the surroundings of the holiday house you can walk, ride a bike, canoeing and swimming in the Gardon river, golf at 2 km., visit Uzès at 2 km. with nice expositions, a beautiful large church and horse shows. Pont du Gard, a large world famous bridge as shown on the photo, lies in the area. A beautiful detached villa with a private swimming pool. The villa is extremely agreeably arranged and benefits from all modern comforts.
In addition to the private swimming pool, there is a beach beside a river 3 km away, Lake Salagou for windsurfers 15 km away along with its beaches, and the sea 30 km away.
Your villa is in the quiet winegrowing village of Plaissan. A small village of about 650 inhabitants, 38 km from Montpellier and 30 km from Beziers.
Going down the Hérault by canoe, visiting Clamouse caves or exploring St Guihelm le Désert are just some of the activities in the region.
In the surrounding area, you can also explore the town of Antiquaires Pezenas (about 18 km away), the fishing village with its mussels and oysters in Golf de St Thomas (about 40 km).

A detached holiday cottage in a property comprising two other holiday cottages. In a small village beneath the Cévennes, on the borders of Le Gard and the Ardèche, this recently restored holiday cottage is comfortable and well situated. The village grocers is right by the house.
The small village of Courry (260 inhabitants) is rich in attractions and full of charm. | LA PéNICHE LODELA, VILLEDUBERT

The barge Lodela is an old commercial barge used in Belgium and in the north of France from the 1930s. Completely restored in 2005, today the barge is an unusual and original form of tourist accommodation. It provides a remarkable level of comfort in an extremely pleasant setting. It has a beautiful shady terrace on the deck with a beautiful view of the canal. A small garden on the bank is also reserved for you.
Close to the barge there is a small lock, typical of the Midi canal. This location close to a lock is interesting as it allows you to find out about the operation of the canal and its history (listed as a World Heritage site).
The region offers a huge number of extraordinary sites: Carcassonne and its famous Medieval City, the town with two monuments listed by Unesco as World Heritage sites, the Cathar chateaux, the giant Cabrespine chasm, numerous abbeys including Fontfroide abbey, wine cellars... In short, sites that should not be missed just waiting for your visit!
