3 Cottages - Award winning Morells Wood Farm, situated 5 miles from historic Ironbridge, is a working cattle and sheep farm that provides the perfect base for a self-catering holiday. Rickyard Cottage and The Byre are newly developed barn conversions that have retained many of the buildings original features. The 150 year old listed buildings are set around a delightful open courtyard which boast original brickwork and wooden beams. They have been tastefully appointed to offer all the modern facilities you may require.
The surrounding open countryside is perfect for those wishing to experience excellent walking and there are many footpaths on the doorstep to explore.
The county is home to many old towns and villages, such as Much Wenlock and Ludlow. Around 10 miles away lies the delightful markets town of Shrewsbury, which offers many shops, restaurants and historic buildings of interest. An ideal touring base for the Midlands, the northwest, mid Wales and even the resorts of North Wales.

| THE PIGGERY, Oswestry Sleeping up to 2 people
Set in the grounds of a Grade II listed, sixteenth century farm, ‘The Piggery’ is a luxury, self catering cottage for couples, who enjoy the countryside–walking, playing golf and bird watching. This stunning barn conversion is set in five acres of picturesque paddocks, overlooking the Welsh hills and Shropshire Union Canal.
The large sitting room has a huge fireplace with comfortable seating. The bathroom has a beautiful roll top bath, the kitchen is fully-equipped. The cottage is on one level with its own secluded garden.<P>
We are close to; Chirk Castle, Llangollen Aquaduct, National Trust property Erddig and Ellesmere's Meres, Oswestry historic market town and a short 30 minute drive would take you in to Shrewsbury a medieval town, with boutiques, fine restuarants and also the wonderful, new Theatre Seven. | PALACE COTTAGE, Hopesay Sleeping up to 2 people
A detached, stone-built, 19th-century cottage, hidden away in a secluded hollow high in the Shropshire hills. It sits in its own private garden surrounded by fields and woodland, which are a haven for wildlife and birds. The peaceful, south-facing terrace is a suntrap with stunning views, and has garden furniture and barbecue.
The cottage has been tastefully restored to preserve its original character, and has an inglenook and woodburning stove, and there are flagstone floors and oak beams throughout.
There are lovely walks from the cottage door. Although located well off the beaten track, away from roads, it is <b>only ten miles from medieval Ludlow,</b> and within an easy drive of Church Stretton, Bishop's Castle, Clun and Ironbridge. |  | | Click photos for details |  |

Goosefoot Barn is nestled in a secluded valley in beautiful Corvedale.
There are four cottages - Pinstones, Diddlebury and Corfton and Munslow Cottage which, together with our family home, comprise the three sides of a courtyard.
Converted in 2000 from stone and timber barns, all have been furnished and decorated to the highest standard. Each cottage has it's own character, is equipped with a colour TV and video, and there is a selection of books and videos for those occasional overcast days!
There are walks right from the doorstep through the varied local landscape and the local pub is a pleasant ten minute walk down the valley.

A delightful two-storey cottage, featuring natural wood and beams, attached to the east wing of The Old Rectory and totally self-contained. It enjoys lovely views of the Shropshire countryside.
The Old Rectory is located 3 miles from the market town of Oswestry in the picturesque village of Selattyn, with its ancient church, village pub and school. It is a perfect base for visiting the nearby Roman City of Chester or the historic town of Shrewsbury and the area's several museums, as well as the National Trust properties of Chirk Castle, Erddig, Powys Castle and Attingham park.
There are many unspoilt beauty spots nearby such as the meres at Ellesmere, Llanrhaeadr waterfall, Lake Vyrnwy, the Berwyns, the Ceiriog Valley and Llangollen. It is less than 2 miles from Offa's Dyke long distance footpath and provides a perfect centre for walking.

Manor Holding, hidden in the tranquil Forest of Wyre, has a sheltered south facing garden and ample car parking. Fallow deer frequent its wild flower meadows and ancient orchards.
The cottage is naturally warm and full of sunlight, enhanced by invisible under floor heating. Pale terracotta/oak floors add to the old world charm of crooked timber frame, leaning walls and low ceilings, complete with inglenook and old stone bread oven.
It has been restored using earth daub, lime plaster and green oak.
4 miles cycle ride along the network of forest paths, through a national nature reserve, lies Georgian Bewdley. Steam trains from here connect to Birmingham and London via Kidderminster.

Set by unspoilt open heathland which has magnificent views, the detached three bedroom cottage was originally built around 1850. Recent additions include free BT WiFi Broadband, 23ft lounge and fan oven with ceramic hob to the newly fitted kitchen.
Original parts of the cottage are of stone and brick leaving curious shelves and ledges inside. Beamed ceilings and woodburning fire add to the character of the cottage.
Newly marked footpaths from the gate take many routes across hills, countryside and forests.
