The picturesque village of Blagdon nestles between the Mendip Hills and Blagdon Lake, ideally situated for anyone wanting to explore the lovely cities of Bristol, Bath and Wells - all within a short distance - as well as other interesting places of interest closeby such as Cheddar, Clevedon, Wookey Hole, Weston-Super-Mare etc.
The cottage has been fully modernised but retains many original features such as original flagstone floor, original fireplace and exposed beams. On the ground floor is the lounge, with woodburner, and a separate kitchen. From the kitchen a concealed staircase leads to the bedroom and en suite bathroom. Outside is a private patio - with table and chairs and a variety of tubs with flowers and shrubs. Off the patio is a small outbuilding with washing machine and room to store bikes, walking/fishing equipment. | OWL COTTAGE, Queen Camel, near Yeovil, Somerset Sleeping up to 6 people
Owl Cottage has two twin bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor, a kitchen, sitting/dining room on the ground floor and its own enclosed gardens with patio and garden chairs. Parking for two cars. It is equipped with an electric cooker, fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine, radio cassette and CD player, DVD facilities.
Owl Cottage is adjacent to the Self Realization Meditation Healing Centre which offers access to the indoor heated swimming pool (at £3.00 per person at prearranged times), walks within their 3½ acre gardens with ponds and wildlife garden and use of two meditation rooms. Therapy sessions and yoga classes can be booked.
A central location, with easy access to the north and south coast, woods, nature reserves and moorlands. Walks from the cottage in open countryside to Cadbury Castle and Corton Denham Ridge, the Leyland Trail and Monarch Way. Ham Hill, Montacute House, Glastonbury Tor, the Fleet Air Arm Museum, Haynes Motor Museum, Cricket St Thomas Wild life Park are within easy distance. The cities of Bath, Bristol and Exeter are just an hour away. Nestled on the Quantock Hills on a narrow lane going up to the plantation of "Staple Plain", this cosy stone cottage has breathtaking views over the landscape of the Brendons, Exmoor, North Hill, Minehead, Blue anchor and over to South Wales. The Coleridge Way runs past the front door. Glorious walks on the Quantock Hills. Plenty of Combes to explore plus the tracks on the top.
West Quantoxhead is a quiet rural village, with garage / shop, The Windmill public house which is recommended for meals, and has a quaint church opposite. Quantock is known for its wildlife, especially the red deer and Quantock ponies.
The centrally heated cottage is perfect for 2-4 people, but can sleep 6 comfortably. It has a sitting room with log burner & TV, well equipped kitchen with modern electric cooker & microwave, and utility room with fridge and washing machine. There are 2 upstairs bedrooms, and the dining room/study room has a couch with pull out double bed that can be used as an extra sleeping facility. The bathroom has a bath and a shower. There is a patio outside, together with garage.

| PIKE'S CRESCENT, Dunster, Somerset Sleeping up to 6 people
Dunster is one of the prettiest villages in England and is situated on the fringe of Exmoor National Park with its wonderful moorland and countryside walks, yet it is also only a 5 minute drive from the seaside town of Minehead with its long sandy beaches, the steam railway, and all the usual High Street Shops.
Pike's Crescent is a newly furnished and well maintained three bedroom modern village house situated in the heart of Dunster and close to all amenities including the ancient Yarn Market, Medieval Castle and Church as well as several good quality restaurants.
The house is one of four in a small Crescent which was built only 10 years ago.
At the property there is an open plan sitting room and separate dining area, fully fitted and equipped kitchen with Washing Machine, Tumble dryer, Dishwasher and Gas hob with electric fan oven, and a downstairs cloakroom. Upstairs is the master double bedroom with ensuite shower room, twin bedroom, single bedroom with guest bed and full family bathroom. The house has been newly furnished and equipped in August 2009 and comfortably sleeps 5/6. In the living room there is a TV, DVD and CD player / radio with Ipod docking station.

Situated in quiet Somerset village near the Devon and Dorset borders, this sympathetically renovated Victorian farmhouse offers spacious accommodation with excellent facilities, including a stairlift and ramp for the disabled if required.
Centrally located for countryside and coast, there is plenty to do in the area. Explore the lovely gardens and country houses of the area - Montacute House, Barrington Court, and Forde Abbey - to name but a few. Take walks on the nearby beautiful Blackdowns or, if you feel more energetic, follow the planned cycle trails. The south coast is within easy reach with a number of resorts offering a variety of beaches and entertainment, and other local attractions include exotic animals at Cricket St Thomas, the Fleet Air Arm Museum, Perrys cider mill and Haynes Motor Museum.
