The picturesque village of Blagdon nestles between the Mendip Hills and Blagdon Lake, ideally situated for anyone wanting to explore the lovely cities of Bristol, Bath and Wells - all within a short distance - as well as other interesting places of interest closeby such as Cheddar, Clevedon, Wookey Hole, Weston-Super-Mare etc.
The cottage has been fully modernised but retains many original features such as original flagstone floor, original fireplace and exposed beams. On the ground floor is the lounge, with woodburner, and a separate kitchen. From the kitchen a concealed staircase leads to the bedroom and en suite bathroom. Outside is a private patio - with table and chairs and a variety of tubs with flowers and shrubs. Off the patio is a small outbuilding with washing machine and room to store bikes, walking/fishing equipment. The Self-contained cottage adjoining the owner's home consists of a sitting/dining room, kitchen, bathroom, and double bedroom all at ground floor level. <b>An ideal retreat for a couple wanting comfortable, and cosy accommodation, the cottage was recently completely refurbished to a high standard in a tasteful country style.</B>
The garden offers delightful views of Stogumber village and the Quantocks beyond. The village shop/post office, White Horse Inn and 14th Century St Mary's Church are ten minute walk away.
In an area of outstanding natural beauty, on the West Somerset Railway Line, Stogumber lies west of the Quantocks 2 miles from the Exmoor National Park, approximately half way between Taunton and Minehead. The nearest coastline being 5 miles away, an ideal location for beachcombers and country walks alike. This immaculately presented, double bedroomed cottage is situated at the gable end of a large converted barn set high above the valley of the Little Exe river about 4 miles from the UK's small Exmoor National park town of Dulverton. The beautiful Wimbleball Lake has a perimeter path of about 12 miles and both Wimbleball and the open heather moorland of Haddon Hill with its herd of Exmoor ponies and red deer are about 2 miles away. There is great walking and riding available in all seasons and permits for trout/salmon fishing can be arranged. Dulverton caters for daily shopping needs including a cash point and the local village pub is 1 mile away.The cottage itself has a sitting room area with large oak beams, radiator, carpeted floor, comfortable sofa, wooden rocking chair, colour TV, video, small tables and a log burner. The kitchen area has cushion flooring, generous units, electric cooker, microwave, fridge, smaller appliances and good range of quality cooking utensils, crockery and glassware. The surrounding area is one of Natural Outstanding Beauty and boasts beautiful views of Wavering Down.
These newly converted 1 and 2 bed barns are perfectly located to enjoy rambling across the Mendips, abseiling Cheddar Gorge or walking on Weston Super Mare beach.
For those enthusiastic historians Glastonbury Abbey and Tor as well as Wells Cathedral are places not to be missed and easily reached from Dunnett Farm.
Within an easy stroll of about a mile is the White Hart and New Inn Public Houses which provide excellent food or ale.

Welcome to The Old Mill, the Granary and The Old Dairy which are situated on the owner's 200 acre farm, and enjoy beautiful views over the surrounding countryside.
The cottages are comfortable and well equipped ideal for weekend breaks. The Old Mill has an oak spiral staircase and retains many original features including wood flooring and wooden beams. The Old Dairy is a self-contained one bedroomed cottage and is adjoining the main 17th century listed farmhouse. Furnished in a contemporary style and has wood flooring throughout the living room, kitchen and bedroom. It is ideal for romantic breaks.
Guests can relax in the spa room or enjoy energetic walks around the farm, pony trekking on Exmoor and walks on The Quantock and Blackdown hills. The Somerset Levels, the coast at Lyme Regis, Exmouth and Charmouth are all within easy reach as well as shopping at Exeter and Bath.

Lovely walks on the doorstep. Excellent pub 1 mile (Brian Turner is chef at weekends) and only <b>2 miles from central Wells</b> with its magnificent Cathedral & Bishop's Palace.
