The apartment is in a house that used to house the studio of the artist Gen Paul. This expressionist painter lived there from 1917 to 1975 and painted numerous pictures based on life in the district.
Today the apartment is a comfortable base, which in addition has a semi-private garden.

Sacré-Cœur basilica is just a stone\'s throw away, as is Moulin de la Gallette (a windmill right in the centre of Paris!) or the famous Rue Lepic, with its many traditional grocers shops and delicious bakeries. Going down this street, you reach the Moulin Rouge and the underground stations.

There is a small park with children\'s games on the corner of the apartment\'s street.
