Fortified castle (approx. 500 m2) with private pool and rurally situated in the region Solsonés, the geographical heart of Catalonia. The 6 bedroom/ 5 bathroom castle consists of three buildings from the XIII, XVII and XVIII century, which forms an architectonic unity. The castle used to be the cradle of the great \"Carlistic guerillas\" Rafel Tristany and the bischop Mossèn Benet. Next to the castle you will find a XV century chapel consecrated to the H.Franciscus of Assisi. The castle is very peacefully situated at about 100 km. from Barcelona. There is a forest with hiking paths approx. 500 m. from the castle. Nice rural views. Skiing in Port del Comte on 50 km. Access the house you have to go through 1 km of unpaved road. |
