Dating from C1800, Mill Cottage is fully centrally heated, double glazed and furnished and equipped to the highest standard, earning it an English Tourism Council Highly Commended 4-Star rating. We provide not only all linen, towels etc. but plenty of little extra touches to make you feel at home.



The farmhouse-style kitchen, fully equipped and modern, displays lots of period features. Take a rest in the window-seat, the sun on your back, while you admire the sheer size of some of the old flagstones! On the table you will find a small collection of 'goodies' to welcome you. Upstairs are the comfy bedrooms, each with it's own character; and the bath & shower rooms with their carefully planned modern facilities. In the sitting room a wood burning stove will keep you wonderfully cosy and warm during the colder weeks. Here, for your convenience, we have installed a P.C. with broadband internet access. Built of local honey-coloured stone, the cottage stands in 3.5 acres of land, which includes a small holding where we keep poultry and sheep. The lovely garden comprises lawns, borders, trees, roses and herbs.



We have lived here, close to Salford village, for almost twenty-five years. Who could ask for lovelier surroundings or a more convenient location?
