In a peaceful, picturesque rural location with stunning views down and across the valley, the cottages are situated next to a working farm (belonging to cottage owners) but away from the main farming activities there are opportunities to join in and look round the farm. The location provides an ideal touring and walking base within easy reach of the main Lakes attractions and beaches of the west coast. There are walks from the door that are away from the crowds but yet within driving distance of Coniston Old Man, Scafell Pike and others. 3mls. from Broughton-in-Furness village with its shops and pubs. Both properties are pet friendly max. 2 dogs. Both cottages sleep 6. Long Garth Cottage is semi detached (attached to main farmhouse), while The Granary is a detached property which is suitable for someone with limited mobility as it has all facilities on one floor but there are steps up to the property. Both properties have their own patio area and Long Garth Cottage has an enclosed garden. |
