From the house, take the opportunity to visit the many local cava production sites, as well as the Sant Quintí de Mediona springs, the Capellades paper mill museum where paper is still produced by hand, the Abric Romaní archaeological remains in Capellades and the ancient frontier castles: Pobla de Claramunt, Òdena, la Tossa, Miralles and Vilademàger. The Alt Penedès area is rich in history and tradition, abounding with places to discover. Water sports fans should head down to Vilanova and La Geltrú beach (40 km). |
