Toad Hall is a spacious Grade II listed timber framed house, complete with Inglenook fireplace and a wealth of exposed timbers in its interior. Set in two acres of garden in the beautiful Suffolk countryside, it is within two hours drive from London, near the Heritage Coast and the ancient town of Woodbridge on the River Deben with its restaurants, pubs and antique shops. Horse riding is just along the lane and golf, fishing, sailing etc. are a short drive away. The house has two sitting rooms, one with TV, video, sound system and log burning stove, a games room, and a large well-equipped farmhouse style kitchen with double oven, microwave, dishwasher and walk in larder with freezer; a utility room houses a washing machine, drier and a large overflow fridge. There are six bedrooms (2 double, 2 twin and 2 singles) and two bathrooms, one of which is en-suite, with walk-in shower; there is also a downstairs WC and entrance boot room. The house is centrally heated throughout and sleeps 10 people comfortably. |
