La Papessa is a part of the Fattoria Montecchio, a large estate approx. 50 are large with vineyards, olive orchards and terracotta factories. La Papese is located on the edge of the medieval town of San Donato in Poggio. It is situated between the Chianti hills with beautiful views far and wide. Once this estate belonged to a rich family from Florence, they completely renovated it and thus created a number of very well appointed apartments. The interior of the accommodation can differ slightly from the pictures. However, the level of comfort is as described. |
