Tarn Outdoor Centre is a unique and superb barn conversion in a traditional Cumbrian hill farm setting. Magnificently situated with spectacular views over the surrounding Howgill Fells. The Centre is an idyllic base for walkers and a peaceful, secluded retreat for those wanting to get away from it all. It is a great venue for parties, celebrations or a family get together.



The centre offers self catering accommodation for groups of up to 24 people in four double/twin bedrooms and two 8 person dormitories. There is a fully equipped kitchen, dining area for the whole group, great lounge, drying room and 8 washrooms (comprising shower, wc, basin in each).



The centre brings a group right into the natural outdoors whilst also having all the comforts of a high specification, recently converted, character facility. Set in acres of grounds there is a large games field and games equipment (football, rounders, cricket, badminton rackets etc..). Panoramic views over surrounding country side. Lots of space, lawned area, small tarn, meadowland where guests are free to have a stroll, enjoy the views, have a barbecue or just relax around an evening campfire. Seeing the lambs in spring, a glimpse of the visiting red squirrels, the greater spotted woodpeckers, the wild rabbits or the fell ponies on the surrounding fells all add to making Tarn Outdoor Centre a special venue for a weekend or group get together or joint family holiday.
