6 Cottages - The Glynhir Estate is set in the beautiful rural Carmarthenshire countryside, in the foot hills of The Black Mountains. Glynhir offers the visitor the tranquility that would be expected from the 18th Century Huguenot Estate with its elegant Mansion House, walled garden, parkland, woodland and spectacular 30ft waterfall.
Grouped around the old farmyard, with its peacocks, ducks, geese, chickens and pot bellied pigs, are the barns, stables and estate cottages that have now been converted into self-catering accommodation.
Each of our cottages has been sympathetically restored and have central heating and log fires. They each have three bedrooms and will sleep between 5 and 7 people.

| CIDERHOUSE COTTAGE, Hendre Sleeping up to 7 people
Ciderhouse Cottage is situated in the heart of Monmouthshire on a working farm which was originally part of the Rolls Estate (CO-founder of Rolls Royce) and, in fact, it is not unusual to see wild deer grazing in the nearby parkland. <b>We are only 5 miles from the bustling, medieval town of Monmouth with its many shops and restaurants and 15 miles from Abergavenny which has a regular rail service taking you directly to the centre of Cardiff.</b>
This traditional stone and brick built barn has been converted to retain many of its original features. Exposed beams, slate floors and under-floor heating give an atmosphere of comfort and relaxation.
A two minute walk to the highest point behind the farm will guarantee you breathtaking views of the Sugar Loaf, Black Mountains and surrounding rolling countryside.
Visit the many magnificent border castles nearby or join in the numerous outdoor sports on offer. Offa’s Dyke path, one of the most famous walks in Britain and the Three Castles walk are both just 1 ½ miles away. There are also many wonderful woodland walks in the Forest of Dean with cycle hire and canoeing available.

This secluded conversion is approached by a leafy farm lane off a B road just 20 minutes from the end of the M4. Recently completed to a very high standard having the benefit of under floor heating, a gas log burner, gallery and all modern conveniences.
In peace and comfort of the highest quality and cleanliness where you will enjoy a slower pace of life from the Black Mountains to the golden beaches. This area has inspired artists and photographers with its abundance of wild life , history and landscapes. The area is known as The Garden of Wales having the National Botanic Garden just 4 miles away and Aberglasney 3 miles away. Carreg Cennen, Dinefwr and Dryslwyn castles are also just a short drive away as are a number of National Trust properties.
This beautiful conversion, originally a cowshed which housed milking cows and their calves, has been converted with architectural flair to provide a large sitting / dining room with spectacular views over the Towy valley and ample room for 8 people.

| GLAN-DWYRYD, Vale of Ffestiniog Sleeping up to 8 people
Glan-Dwyryd is a detached, white-washed, stone cottage standing in the valley that runs below Ffestiniog. From the private parking bay the garden entrance leads down stone steps to the cottage, which is thus nicely secluded from the sound and sight of passing traffic.
On the ground floor the conservatory looks out over a stream. It is framed by woodland which all comes within the Snowdonia Reserve, all this natural beauty creates a tranquil setting and stunning views.The garden is small but full of colour.
Excellent walks are to be had from the cottage and it provides a good base to explore the many attractions of the area. The best beach of the locality (25 mins by car)is that at Harlech which offers safe bathing and miles of golden sands. Definitely worth a visit is the famous village of Portmeirion, which is close by and designed to resemble an Italian village.

The cottage adjacent to farmhouse is set on a working farm, in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
The cottage has its own small private garden to the rear.
The quaint village of Aberdaron withits own beach, shops, and pubs is just a 10 minutes walk.
The famous whistling sands is just a short drive, boat trips to Bardsey Island, fishing, surfing, cycling, cliff top walks over national trust land or just relax by the sea.
Snowdon is about an hours drive.
The cottage is available all year and for weekend breaks off peak.
