6 Cottages - The Glynhir Estate is set in the beautiful rural Carmarthenshire countryside, in the foot hills of The Black Mountains. Glynhir offers the visitor the tranquility that would be expected from the 18th Century Huguenot Estate with its elegant Mansion House, walled garden, parkland, woodland and spectacular 30ft waterfall.
Grouped around the old farmyard, with its peacocks, ducks, geese, chickens and pot bellied pigs, are the barns, stables and estate cottages that have now been converted into self-catering accommodation.
Each of our cottages has been sympathetically restored and have central heating and log fires. They each have three bedrooms and will sleep between 5 and 7 people.

| THE BARN, Dryslwyn Sleeping up to 8 people
This secluded conversion is approached by a leafy farm lane off a B road just 20 minutes from the end of the M4. Recently completed to a very high standard having the benefit of under floor heating, a gas log burner, gallery and all modern conveniences.
In peace and comfort of the highest quality and cleanliness where you will enjoy a slower pace of life from the Black Mountains to the golden beaches. This area has inspired artists and photographers with its abundance of wild life , history and landscapes. The area is known as The Garden of Wales having the National Botanic Garden just 4 miles away and Aberglasney 3 miles away. Carreg Cennen, Dinefwr and Dryslwyn castles are also just a short drive away as are a number of National Trust properties.
This beautiful conversion, originally a cowshed which housed milking cows and their calves, has been converted with architectural flair to provide a large sitting / dining room with spectacular views over the Towy valley and ample room for 8 people.

There are various activities nearby, for example golf at Pwellheli, Abersoch and Morfa Nefyn, riding in Llanbedrog and Aberaron; clay shooting/ archery/ off road driving; quad bikes; hovercrafts; gardens; galleries etc.
We are also close to the many attractions found in Lleyn, for example Snowdon, Llanberis, Portmeirion, Ffestiniog Railway, Criccieth, Harlech and Caernarfon Castles. So if you wish to stay in tranquil countryside surrounding, then this is the place. | THE CROSS, Llangennith Sleeping up to 8 people
The Cross is situated in the middle of Llangennith opposite the mini roundabout.
Maps of the area show that there has been a dwelling at the cross for at least 200 years and prior to the refurbishment the old building consisted of two cottages that had been converted into one.
The property has been rebuilt during 1996 retaining the original front wall and the floor plan of the original rooms but has added a large kitchen at the rear, and upstairs a second bathroom. Much of the original charm of beamed ceilings and fire places has been retained.
Llangennith is a village at the North West tip of Gower close to Broughton Beach and Rhossili Beach. It is ideal for seaside surfing and fishing holidays, and many coastal walks. There is an 11th century Norman Church, village pub and post office.
Free parking is available at Broughton Farm Caravan Park, (next to Broughton Beach), where there is also a children's playground and grocery shop from Easter to September.

It is ideally suited to people of all ages. Young families will enjoy exploring the countryside and the many bays and beaches within 3 minutes walk of the cottage. Here they can have adventures and enjoy paddling, bathing and fishing within a safe environment. Retired couples will equally enjoy the peace and tranquility of the area.
The village of Valley, 3 miles away, has a very good range of shops. Other centres are Trearddur Bay and Holyhead where you can buy all you need for your holiday.
